Diving in Mauritius - Stella Maru

Mauritius is one of the best destinations in the world for diving ? and its multiple shipwrecks are just waiting to be explored. Stella Maru wreck can be found at a depth of 25 metres off the northwest coast, close to Trou-aux-Biches, and was purposefully sunk in 1987 to create an artificial reef.

As you swim through its carcass, you’re likely to see shoals of blue triggerfish, plus the odd giant moray poking out of its hiding place on the lookout for a snack. The inside of the wreck is stunning too, so add Stella Maru to your diving wishlist ?.
