MAMO Le Michelangelo at Republik Beach Club & Grill

Our resort felt a little of the ‘Cannes-do spirit’ at Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa from Jan 12th - Jan 21st 2018!

We were excited to partner with MAMO Le Michelangelo restaurant, a celebrity-filled 5-star restaurant on the French Riviera!

The 25-year-old original in Antibes draws stars all year long, but especially during the Cannes Film Festival.

MAMO is the preferred Chef for A-listers from Rihanna, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie to Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Samuel Jackson, Quentin Tarantino and Woody Allen the famous cinematographer.

This exciting collaboration saw Republik Beach Club & Grill transformed to recreate the exclusive MAMO Le Michelangelo atmosphere. From the signature décor and table displays to the unique playlist of MAMO, guests enjoyed a taste of true Italian hospitality!

The highlights of the dishes, which will changed every day, included the following:
Sweet peperoni in olive oil, baked egg-plant with parmesan cheese, stuffed vegetables, octopus salad, Burrata with tomatoes, basil and olive oil, fresh truffle pizza, pasta with sausages, meat balls, tomatoes, olive oil, basil and garlic, breaded veal slice and the grilled lamb shoulder and much more….


ABOUT MAMO LE MICHELANGELO:
The family's culinary history started with Mike’s grandfather Angelo Mammoliti, who emigrated from Calabria, Italy in the 1950s to Antibes, which has a large Italian community. His son, Herve Mammoliti, opened a pizza restaurant in the heart of old town but a few years later sold it and bought a piece of beachfront property to open MAMO Le Michelangelo.
